GMM-QUADCHIP160
The QuadChip 160P is a specialist, road-tow chipper designed for roadside and highway maintenance contractors. Its 360-degree swivelling chassis allows operators to position the in-feed chute away from the roadside, enhancing safety for both the road and the operator. Powered by a 37hp B&S Vanguard petrol engine, this compact chipper has a towing weight of under 750kg, making it ideal for roadwork applications.
The robust design is built around a deep beam, high-tensile steel chassis that ensures durability and strength. The generous 800mm x 700mm in-feed hopper easily handles bulky material, minimizing the need for trimming. Twin vertical feed rollers (160mm x 230mm) work in tandem with the electronically controlled ‘No-Stress’ system, adjusting throughput speed to ensure maximum chipping efficiency.
The renowned Disc-Blade system features a rotating cutting edge, extending sharpening intervals to approximately 150 hours. This reduces downtime, cuts maintenance costs, and ensures top-tier performance for your job.
Maintenance is easy, with centralized grease points and simple daily checkovers, meaning your chipper stays operational without fuss.
As with all GreenMech chippers, the QuadChip 160P is built to last, with a heavy-duty chassis and a durable powder-coat finish that holds up over time, maintaining strong residual value. Plus, it runs quietly, minimizing noise pollution, a key feature for roadside work. The machine comes with a full, unlimited three-year, no-quibble warranty for peace of mind.

We Are Our Own Toughest Customer
We don't just sell machinery—we use it daily. Running one of the UK's most active tree surgery divisions, every machine is trialled in our own operations first. If it's not good enough for our crew, it won't be in our showroom.
50 Years of "Boots on the Ground"
The scale of a market leader, the heart of a family business. We’ve grown into a premier UK and Ireland forestry hub, but we’ve never traded our work boots for brogues. This evolution hasn’t made us corporate—it’s made us more capable.
The Complete Timber Lifecycle
From the first survey to the finished product. We are uniquely positioned to handle the entire chain. Because we operate across every stage of the industry, we offer a "full-circle" expertise that goes far beyond a showroom.
