KGD 550 EH SA
This 5.5 tonne Königswieser cable winch is built for efficient, heavy-duty forwarding with tractors from 50 hp. Electro-hydraulic operation and hydraulic self-supply keep control smooth and consistent, while the large disc clutch diameter helps reduce heat build-up and wear during repeated pulls. The clutch is actuated via a ring cylinder and self-adjusts automatically, keeping performance reliable with less downtime.
Reinforced drive components and massive steel struts support demanding forestry work, and the radio control setup is a big advantage for one-man operation in the forest. Supplied as standard with hydraulic self-supply, self-adjusting clutch, reduction gear, lower cable infeed, trailer clutch, dead man’s brake, protective grille and support feet. Built to CE regulations with safety precautions in accordance with ÖNORM L 5276 and supplied with a declaration of conformity.

We Are Our Own Toughest Customer
We don't just sell machinery—we use it daily. Running one of the UK's most active tree surgery divisions, every machine is trialled in our own operations first. If it's not good enough for our crew, it won't be in our showroom.
50 Years of "Boots on the Ground"
The scale of a market leader, the heart of a family business. We’ve grown into a premier UK and Ireland forestry hub, but we’ve never traded our work boots for brogues. This evolution hasn’t made us corporate—it’s made us more capable.
The Complete Timber Lifecycle
From the first survey to the finished product. We are uniquely positioned to handle the entire chain. Because we operate across every stage of the industry, we offer a "full-circle" expertise that goes far beyond a showroom.
